PADI Boat Diver Specialty
Diving from shore is fun, but many of the world's best dive sites are only accessible by boat. Whether you have never made a boat dive or have logged many, this specialty course will benefit you because boats in various parts of the world do things differently. Boat diving can also be relatively easy as the boat acts as your taxi to drop you right onto your dive site.
This course will expand your knowledge about all sizes and types of boat (from small inflatables to large liveaboards) and you will gain experience of UK boat diving by completing two boat dives with us.

- Boat terminology
- Boat diving procedures and etiquette
- How to enter and exit, and where to stow your gear
- Using descent and surface lines to initiate and conclude your dives
- Boating safety, including how to locate safety equipment
